George Mason University Libraries offer direct access to various current news sites, industry journals, and historical newspapers, including the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Business Journal, Economist, and more.

Current George Mason students, faculty, and staff receive free subscriptions to the news source when accessing via university credentials.

Mason Child Development Center

Located on the Fairfax Campus, the Child Development Center offers early childhood education services for Mason and non-Mason affiliate families with children ages two and up.

How to claim discounts at the Hylton Center

Patriot Tech

At Patriot Tech, located within the Bookstore at the Johnson Center, faculty and staff are eligible for education pricing on computers, tablets, software, and technology products. Full-time faculty and staff are eligible for payroll deduction. Contact Patriot Tech at 703-993-4100, email [email protected], or visit the Patriot Tech website.

Mason Professional Development

Mason Professional Development Program offers courses, and workshops that enhance workplace productivity, topics including project management, facility management, information technology, human resource management, and more. Mason Recreation

Mason faculty, staff, students, alumni, and retirees receive discounted rates for Mason Recreation memberships and facility access. Memberships include access to updated cardio and strength training equipment, competition and recreation pool, whirlpool and sauna, multipurpose courts for basketball, badminton, volleyball, pickleball, squash, and racquetball courts, plus free group fitness classes including yoga, cycle, and aqua aerobics.

Faculty, staff, retirees, and students are eligible for special discounts at the EagleBank Arena by presenting a valid Mason ID at the box office. Up to four tickets can be purchased with each Mason ID for most events. For more information, please call the EagleBank Arena box office at (703) 993-3000.

George Mason Bookstore

Mason faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees receive a 10% discount at the George Mason Bookstore on all merchandise except textbooks, gift cards, class rings, graduation products, computer software, computer hardware, periodicals, health, and beauty aids, food, and beverages.

Mason students receive a 5% discount on the purchase of hardcopy textbooks when using their Mason Money to pay for the entire purchase.

Discounts cannot be combined with any other promotion. Valid in person only.
